MOSMAN HOUSE 2

Alterations and additions to an existing Federation cottage within the Glover and Nathans Estates Conservation Area, Mosman Council.

The challenge for this design was that it is a corner block, and highly visible within a Conservation Area.
We designed a first floor addition which compliments the existing home but at the same time was able to get excellent accomodation upstairs for the growing family.

The aesthetics of the house include a more traditional exterior with warm, natural internal finishes and contemporary detailing for the kitchen, bathrooms and stair.

DA approval took four months and the entire project took almost two years from beginning to end. Contemporary Architecture was involved in all stages of the design, approval, construction documentation, interior design and contract administration.
