CAMMERAY HOUSE 1

Alterations and additions to an existing Victorian cottage in the North Sydney Council Plateau Conservation Area.

This home was an extensive refurbishment of a very attractive, but rather neglected brick cottage. The brief included a first floor addition and additions to the rear to create a classic contemporary home. The process took 2 years to complete with 5 months in council and 12 months to build. Contemporary Architecture was involved in designing both the ground and first floor's. On the ground floor a study, formal living room, master bedroom and ensuite, laundry, pantry and pool bathroom, and a large living, dining and kitchen area. On the first floor are two bedrooms, a playroom and a bathroom. The project also includes a new in-ground pool and extensive landscaping.
