ARTARMON HOUSE 5

Alterations and Additions to an existing home within the Artarmon Conservation Area of Willoughby City Council. Compliance was a Development Application through Willoughby Council.

This project was for mainly internal alterations and a minor extension to create a new open plan living, kitchen and dining area opening to an existing rear deck area. The existing attic playroom was converted into a master suite with ensuite. As part of the renovation the one remaining existing bathroom was reconfigured as well as a new laundry and powder room added to the ground floor. What was originally a disjointed 1980s renovation was transformed into an open and flowing family home.

Contemporary Architecture was involved in all stages of the design, approval, construction documentation and contract administration. Contemporary Architecture collaborated with interior designer Romy Alwill and her team to create a new interior palette for the whole house.
